Brief
Description of the Project: Over 2
million tonnes of Waste has been dumped and
being dumped
at the rate of 2200 tonnes per day at Jawahar
Nagar Site on the outskirts of the city.
This will increase to 3500 tonnes per day
with formation of GHMC. The project requires
setting up of 1500 tonnes per day of Composting
and 1500 tpd of Inert Landfill development,
besides covering the existing waste. |
